![]() Top floor is where i'll put pathology/the morgue and an additional trauma center for ambulance patients, leading out to a rooftop helipad. ![]() all wards will be on edges for windowspace obvs. these floors will also include inpatient diagnostics. with the new DLC i'll probably put my burns unit here now too,įifth floor above is the wards for all the other departments usually two-three depts per floor, except for the new dlc infectious diseases one they'll be isolated on their own floor for obvious reasons. i like operating theaters to be close to ICU for those emergency surgeries. Third floor i'll reserve for observation wards, staff canteen, study room, and inpatient labs.įourth floor is for ICU and operating theatres. Second floor i reserve for specialist clinics and outpatient diagnostics (i like to build my hospital as realistic as possible) the big radiology machines like MRI are on the edges for ease of access if they need replacing & cleaning, can just take the wall down from the ouside.
